1.1 PROGRAMME STANDARDS
Programme Aims
The programme aims to prepare and focus graduates who possess knowledge and skills competency in aircraft maintenance, in accordance with high demand for skill employee with good interpersonal skills, leadership values and entrepreneurial vision to propel their career further.
Therefore, our aims, objectives and learning outcomes for this programme were designed to produce graduate who will meet the vision and mission of the college as to support the growth of the industry for qualified human resources with good ethics in this area of aircraft maintenance.
The programme is in line with and supportive of vision, mission and goal of the HEP is based on lecturer mode design. The mode design for meet PEO and PLO objective in this programme is Lecture mode, Practical mode and Industrial training mode.
Programme Education Objectives (PEO)
The programme objective is to produce graduate who:
PEO 1 Knowledgeable and sound technically competent in aviation engineering technology discipline, which will contribute towards human capital development in aviation related industry.
PEO 2 Possesses effective in communication and demonstrate great leadership with good interpersonal, and teamwork to support their role in industry.
PEO 3 Demonstrate the critical thinking to solve engineering problem with creativity and ethically manner.
PEO 4 Capable to demonstrate entrepreneurship skills and recognize the need of life-long learning for successful career advancement.
Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
At the end of the programme, students should be able to:
PLO1 apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization principles to well-defined practical procedures and practices
PLO2 Interpret and analyze engineering problems in their discipline or area of specialization.
PLO3 formulate solutions to well-defined technical problems
PLO4 assist in the formulation of systems, components or processes to meet specified needs.
PLO5 conduct investigations of well-defined problems
PLO6 apply appropriate techniques, resources, and engineering tools to well-defined engineering activities, with an awareness of their limitations
PLO7 demonstrate an awareness of and consideration for societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and their consequent responsibilities
PLO8 communicate effectively with the engineering community and society at large
PLO9 function effectively in a diverse technical team
PLO10 demonstrate an understanding of professional ethics, responsibilities and norms of engineering technology practices
PLO11 demonstrate an understanding of the impact of engineering practices, taking into account the need for sustainable development

1.3 ENTRY REQUIREMENT
A pass in SPM/SPMV or O level with at least Three (3) credits in these subjects:
- Bahasa Melayu subject (Malaysian)
- Mathematics subject
- 1 science/technical subject
- Pass in English subject
OR
- Other qualification that equivalent subject to Admal Aviation College Approval.
